Big Sky Country Bar & Grill: A Taste of Comfort and Tradition in Germantown, WI

They have the Best Perch around. I love it with potato pancakes and applesauce. They also have terrific Carrot Cake if you like Desert.

First time there, went for lunch. Large menu. Quick friendly service. Great french onion soup! Homemade app and deliscous pork chop sandwhich.

Went out for a fried fish fry with a group of friends. Two of us had been to Big sky on numerous occasions. The other three were newbies. Was very disappointed as it appears Big sky has changed their fish. The newbies thought the fish was okay. Unfortunately not sure with the change to the fish that I will be back

Right around the corner from work. How did I not know this sooner? Best chili ever. I will be going there often for lunch.

We went on Saturday because we saw on the website that they had prime rib on Sat. When we got there, we weren't even sure if they were open or just having a private party as there is a large open dining area before you get to where the bar and additional dining is. Nobody greeted is until we got into the bar area. The waitress pointed and said, "there's a table or high top." So we Sat down and she came and handed us menus, asked if we wanted something to drink and proceeded to get our sodas. When she came back, she told us the specials but not what they came with or any prices. So I asked about the prime rib and she said, "oh, that was last week, you missed it." What in the world, what kind of answer is that when it's advertised in the website as a Saturday special. So, I choose the 1/2 rack of Ribs with a baked potato, which you would think is a standard potato choice to go with ribs, nope, $3 upcharge. Hubby had a mushroom swiss with potato salad which he said was good. Anyway, needless to say, we probably won't be back. Maybe you should update your website if it's not accurate and I'd certainly make the entrance a bit more inviting for people who are not regulars there. Thank you

This is a great local restaurant/bar. The people were friendly, even though I wasn't a regular. We ate at the bar, the bartender was nice, with a little sass. I had the Rib Special. Everything about it was good, the ribs fell off the bone, pretty good BBQ flavor. I will definitely go back.

Discovered this place after a Germantown track meet and returned again today because the food was very good, the service excellent and it was a fun atmosphere. Just a suggestion but the owners should get a sign installed just south and north on hwy 41 advertising and providing off ramp instructions. We've seen this place while driving on 41 and didn't realize how good it was until we stumbled upon it coming from the highschool. The food is better than your average bar and grill, the drinks are tasty and the service has been excellent both times we came. It's a good establishment -we'll be talking it up with our friends and family.
